About Take my hand e.V.<\/h1><\/div>
<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Take my hand e.V. was founded in Munich, Germany, by Julia and Ali Beisenov<\/strong>. Originally from Kazakhstan, the couple moved to Germany in 2002 and have been committed to supporting orphaned children in post-Soviet countries since 2003<\/b>. In 2015<\/strong>, Julia and Ali adopted<\/strong> a child with a disability.<\/p>\n

With the establishment of the NGO Take my hand e.V.<\/strong> in 2020<\/strong>, they aimed to expand their impact and provide targeted help to more children without family support. The organisation\u2019s first project took place in Russia<\/a>, where it supported children in orphanages through healthcare, access to education, and emergency aid.<\/p>\n

Since 2022<\/strong>, the organisation has focused on orphaned children in Ukraine<\/a><\/strong>, who have become especially vulnerable due to the war. In addition to providing psychological support<\/a> in local orphanages, the organisation has evacuated<\/a> three orphanages to Germany.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In Germany, we support orphaned refugee children through mentoring and educational programmes. In 2023, our project \u201cMentors for Ukrainian Orphans<\/a>\u201d was awarded the Swabian Integration Prize.<\/p>\n

Since 2024<\/strong>, Take my hand e.V. has also been committed to the education of orphaned children in Uganda.<\/a><\/strong> By covering school fees and providing learning materials, we aim to create long-term opportunities for these children and help break the cycle of poverty.<\/p>\n

And even if our work only makes the world a little better as a whole, we can still make a significant difference in the lives of these individual children \u2013 that is our vision.<\/strong><\/p>\n
