<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>The current situation in Uganda<\/h2><\/div><\/div>Many children in Uganda live under difficult conditions, marked by poverty and very limited access to education<\/strong>. Education costs money, but many families cannot afford school fees or school materials. For these children, this means no school and no chance of a better future.<\/p>\nOrphaned children <\/strong>\u2013 those who have lost their parents for various reasons \u2013 are particularly affected. They often live in orphanages, which themselves struggle with limited resources and cannot cover the costs of education.<\/p>\nWithout access to education, these children remain trapped in a cycle of poverty and hopelessness \u2013 a cycle passed from one generation to the next.<\/strong> Girls are especially disadvantaged: they often leave school to help at home, leaving them with even fewer opportunities to learn a profession and to lead an independent life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Our education project in Jinja (Uganda)<\/h2><\/div><\/div>Since autumn 2024, we have been supporting the education of children and young people in Jinja, a small town in southern Uganda. Our education project gives 40 orphaned children access to school <\/strong>and a chance for a better future.<\/p>\nWe work closely with local orphanages, schools, and partner organisations in Jinja. By being on site in Jinja,<\/strong> we make sure that our support reaches the children who need it.<\/p>\nBy covering school fees<\/strong> and providing school materials, we create long-term opportunities and new prospects for these children.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>Help us to help!<\/h2><\/div><\/div>With your support, we can give 40 orphaned children in Uganda long-term access to education.
